5 Valentine’s Gifts for Your Little Loves
February is here and if you find yourself getting all heart-eyed over the month, we understand why. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we love the idea of broadening the gifting beyond candy and flowers…especially if you have little ones in your life.
Children love giving and receiving Valentine’s cards and gifts, and that’s why we’ve gathered five of our favorite Valentine’s Day gifts that your little love will adore. Let’s dive in!
This year, we’re taking teddy bears off the list and offering up an adorable alternative.
Are your kids crazy for Squishmallows? The ultra-plush and uber-soft lovies are all the rage amongst kids of all ages, and we have fallen head over heels for the sweet, squishiness of Caparinne, the heart-wearing, hot pink Bigfoot. There’s just so much of her to love!
Books are a wonderful addition to a Valentine’s goodie bag (why not feed the mind along with the belly?).
For toddlers and preschoolers, we love Llama Llama, I Love You by Anna Dewdney. Your child will love following along with Little Llama as he hands out cards and lots of hugs on Valentine’s Day.
Older, independent readers (both boys and girls!) will enjoy Oh, Valentine, We Lost Our Minds! by Dan Gutman. Hilarity ensues when a foreign exchange student challenges A.J. for the affection of a classmate, and we love that puzzles and games are included at the end of this weirdly wonderful book.
Nothing says “I love you” like fostering a child’s creativity! Each Craftikit comes packed with twenty unique and engaging craft projects, and each project is conveniently organized in its own envelope.
Best of all, everything your child will need to start crafting is included in the kit! Mom and Dad can join in on the fun and let kids get creative while they take care of business…or take a well-deserved break.
And, if you have a kid who’s crazy for dinos, be sure to check our Dinosaur Craftikit for plenty of prehistoric fun!
Kids love the game “Would You Rather”, so why not give them the game in book form? Here, kids can decide the best of two bad options—would you rather get a box of chocolates that taste like tuna fish or a bouquet of lollipops that taste like sour milk?
The questions are wild, and kids of all ages will love coming up with a rationale for their answers.
Tattly Temporary Tattoos
Kids love temporary tattoos, and the ones from Tattly are some of the best around. These sweet, heart-shaped lollipop tattoos last for 2 – 4 days and come in a set of two. We also think these three hearts are absolutely adorable!
And there you have it…five outside-the-box Valentine’s gift ideas that the child in your live will absolutely love! From all of us at Craftikit, here’s wishing you a very sweet Valentine’s Day!
